Abzu's Fountain Press Writer's Guidelines Abzu's Fountain Press welcomes submissions from both new and established writers. Our focus is on pagan and goddess worship children's material. We publish both fiction and non-fiction works for ages zero to 12, particularly picture books and other illustrated works. We publish every kind of children's story; retelling of mythology, explanations of magical traditions, original stories, how-to magical books, etc. so long as the emphasis is on a pagan child protagonist and relevant situations and is well written. Stories must be appropriate for children and can not contain graphic sex or violence. Paganism and earth religions are a limitless genre, and each person's interpretation of these will be different. We welcome each point of view and try to offer a taste of many different perspectives. It is vital that submitted stories are reverent to other magical traditions. Payment for accepted stories is on an individual basis. If you would like to have your manuscript returned in the event that we can not use it, please include a SASE with adequate postage.
